Bourton-on-the-Water Reflections

During this month we have had some of the best weather of the year, pure sunshine everyday until now. As a result of this stunning weather had been using our daily walks wisely and using that time for taking photos ofBourton-on-the-Water and Lower Slaughter. In the 30 years of living in this area I have never seen the water so crystal clear and the beauty of our home village without tourists.

If you have not been keeping up with our facebook page “Alastair Currill Photography” we have been posting images every day of the stunning reflections, and glorious sunshine. Below we have added a few of our favourites.

All these images are available to order as prints via the our Cotswold Image Library on Hope everyone is staying safe and see you all soon with more images.

Our Last Group Shoot of March 2020 with Natasha J Bella

While you are reading this many of us are on Lockdown due to COVID-19, This virus has affected everyone around the world but it did give us a great opportunity when The Photography show 2020 was postponed. Following the show being postponed we were lucky enough to have model Natasha J Bella.

Natasha J Bella is a very successful model in the UK and she also teaches photography as well as models so was great to have a second voice during this group shoot. The group shoot sold out within 24 hours by many of our regular photographers who attend out events.

During the workshop we covered many different lighting set ups with from clam shell lighting and split lighting to name a few. The results were all fantastic! Natasha was happy to give advice as well and great poses that give great dynamic looks to our images.

Below we have added a few examples of images captured (Only safe for work ones) and some behind the scenes images for you to see what we do.

Thank you to everyone for coming we have had so much amazing feedback from our other photographers and Natasha too, below we have added them of them for you.

“Alastair organised a short notice group shoot which fully booked quickly. Alastair is very easy to get along with, was extremely accommodating, and helpful and made me feel very comfortable. He gave good tips to the whole group of varying levels from beginners to more experienced, ensuring everyone got great shots. He set the lighting before each set which was very flattering, making the shots look great straight away. From what I could tell everyone was happy with what they were getting, I definitely was and I’m very happy with how the shoot went. We are planning another day since it went so well. I would highly recommend Alastair’s studio and groups shoots and I’m looking forward to working with him again soon. Thanks for a great day” Natasha J Bella

“Had another amazing shoot over at Alastair Currill studio this Afternoon with the lovely Natasha belle, Alastair was his helpful self as normal, we covered many different sets ranging from portrait to Art nude & Lingerine, had an amazing afternoon with him & 5 others, thank for arranging this at such short notice, really enjoyed the three Hours & Natasha Belle was a star model.Thank again” Andy Warden

“Another well organised group shoot, this time at short notice taking advantage of the cancelled photography show to get a top model for us. Thank you Alastair” Terry Walters

“A hastily-arranged group shoot at Alastair Currell’s studio with the model Natasha J Bella. A very productive three hours, I got some images that I’m really happy with. We went through a few setups, mixed it up a bit with a few props, and the time just flew by. Alastair has a knack of suggesting themes which interest me, and so I shall no doubt be going to more events like this.” Tim Robinson
